What They Need
Educational Foundations: Graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy (a Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred).
Active Credentials: A valid Washington State Respiratory Care Practitioner License and American Heart Association BLS required upon hire.
Advanced Certifications: American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days of hire.
Clinical Experience: At least one year of acute care experience for staff level; a minimum of two years of acute care experience is required for Senior level consideration.
Specialized Skills (Senior Level): Proven expertise or strong preferred experience in NICU, adult CCU, and open-heart recovery settings, along with a natural aptitude for peer mentoring.
